JOB DETAILS

Are you a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction, and can just get the job done? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Permanent Superintendent/Construction Manager to join our team. This role is instrumental in leading, managing, and coordinating all phases of construction projects from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment on a variety of challenging projects and to play a key role in shaping the built environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent/Construction Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including project planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
2. Ensuring all construction activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
3. Developing and implementing project schedules and budgets, and monitoring progress to ensure objectives are met.
4. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, and ensuring they understand and adhere to job site safety standards.
5. Reviewing work progress on a daily basis and resolving any emerging issues.
6. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
7. Conducting regular safety inspections and meetings, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Superintendent/Construction Manager, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on safety management.
2. A Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3. Proven experience in managing all phases of construction projects, from conception to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Proficiency in construction management software.
7. In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to influence a positive safety culture.
11. Valid certification in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training or similar is a plus.
