Job Summary

As the Facilities Manager at CADY, you are instrumental in ensuring our studios operate at peak performance, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional photography experiences. This pivotal role oversees new studio projects, remodels, and updates, manages facilities budgets, procures essential equipment and furnishings, and maintains high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety across all locations. Through strategic project management and operational oversight, you enable CADY to create inspiring environments for our team and clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage New Studio Projects and Remodels: Lead all aspects of new studio openings and existing studio remodels, including budget planning, timeline management, lease negotiations, and turnkey solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Procure Facilities Resources: Oversee purchasing of furniture, storage items, and all other facilities-related needs, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with studio operational requirements.
• Manage Facilities Budget: Develop and maintain the facilities budget, tracking expenditures, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring financial efficiency across all studio operations.
• Facilities Ticket Management: Administer the facilities ticketing process, receiving and resolving tickets by coordinating with local contractors to deliver swift, effective solutions.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform small repairs as needed and coordinate maintenance contracts for CADY’s 22 locations to ensure facilities and equipment are in optimal condition.
• Set Cleanliness and Organizational Standards: Establish and enforce high standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation across all studios, ensuring spaces, including conference rooms, manager’s offices, and image processing areas, are “show ready” at all times.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with department heads to anticipate facility needs, maintain organized workspaces, and foster positive relationships with team members and partners.
• Contract Management: Create and maintain tracking systems for all service contracts, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Event Coordination: Support studio event setup and logistics, ensuring resources are ready for successful photography sessions.
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Uphold confidentiality of information and maintain professional office behavior, serving as a welcoming representative of CADY for guests and interviewees.

Position Requirements:

• Work Schedule: In-person, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is not eligible for hybrid work.
• Professional Conduct: Exhibit professional office behavior, avoiding gossip, horseplay, or unprofessional conduct, as the role represents CADY’s brand.
• Skills: Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs. Proficient in project management, budgeting, and using software tools for facilities and ticket management.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with supervisors, employees, contractors, and customers.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• High school diploma required; additional education or certifications in facilities management, project management, or related fields preferred.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors:

• Travel as needed to visit studios and oversee projects or remodels.
• Extended periods of viewing computer screens for project, budget, and ticket management.
• Stationary work for extended periods, with the ability to walk/move inside or outside for more than 6 consecutive hours.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and contractors.
• Carry, bend, pull, and reach as needed to perform repairs, restocking, maintenance, or furniture setup tasks.
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds and potentially with team lifting.
