What You'll Do
Lead Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis
As the senior leader responsible for FP&A, you will drive the financial insights, planning processes, and strategic analysis that support executive and Board-level decision-making.
You will:
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and enterprise financial modeling activities.
- Partner with executive leaders across the business to translate strategy into measurable financial outcomes.
- Deliver timely and actionable analysis of performance versus plan, forecast, and prior-year results.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators that provide visibility into business health and operational success.
- Continuously improve forecasting processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools.
- Build valuation and financial models supporting capital allocation, investment decisions, M&A opportunities, product profitability, and pricing strategies.
- Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and strategic modeling to support growth initiatives.
- Provide financial guidance regarding investments, cost management, market opportunities, and business performance.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and macroeconomic factors that may influence business outcomes.
Lead and Elevate Investor Relations
You will play a critical role in communicating XPEL's growth story to the investment community while supporting the CEO and CFO in external engagements.
You will:
- Develop earnings support materials, investor presentations, executive talking points, and Q&A preparation documents.
- Coordinate logistics and content for non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, and Investor Day events.
- Maintain investor-facing communications, fact sheets, presentation materials, and website content.
- Monitor analyst models, consensus estimates, and valuation methodologies, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Analyze shareholder composition, ownership trends, trading activity, and market sentiment.
- Support preparation of annual reports, proxy statements, and investor communications.
- Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Corporate Communications to ensure accurate and compliant disclosures.
Build and Develop High-Performing Teams
At XPEL, leadership means creating opportunities for others to succeed.
You will:
- Lead and develop FP&A and investor-relations support teams through coaching, mentorship, and performance development.
- Create an environment of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent planning, succession development, and organizational capability building.
- Establish processes, policies, and best practices that enable scalable growth.
- Foster a culture where diverse perspectives are valued and every team member feels empowered to contribute.
What Makes You Successful
You are equally comfortable discussing long-term strategy with the Board as you are building a model, reviewing forecasts, or helping a team member solve a problem.
You bring:
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- A bias toward action and results.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
- Deep analytical capabilities and intellectual curiosity.
- The ability to simplify complex financial information for diverse audiences.
- A collaborative leadership style grounded in humility and accountability.

Senior Level Financial Planning Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level financial planning analyst job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can own the full planning cycle independently, not just execute tasks. Demonstrating experience building financial models from scratch, presenting to senior leadership, and mentoring junior analysts sets strong candidates apart. Familiarity with enterprise planning tools and the ability to translate complex data into business recommendations is expected, not optional.
Which companies hire senior level financial planning analysts?
Companies hiring senior level financial planning analysts right now include Jobot, Trace3, and 24 Seven Talent, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level tends to concentrate in large enterprises, fast-scaling companies, and organizations with complex multi-year planning needs that require experienced analysts to lead the work.
Are there remote senior level financial planning analyst jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 13% of senior level financial planning analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting strong demand for experienced analysts who can work autonomously. Fully on-site roles are more common at companies where the position involves close collaboration with executive leadership or finance leadership teams.
What makes a financial planning analyst role senior level?
Senior level roles are defined by ownership and scope. Where mid-level analysts execute defined tasks, senior analysts own entire planning workstreams, set modeling assumptions, and influence strategic decisions. They are expected to mentor junior team members, lead cross-functional projects, and present findings directly to finance leadership or the C-suite without significant oversight.
Which industries hire the most senior level financial planning analysts?
Senior level financial planning analyst roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors tend to drive hiring at this level because of their complex capital structures, long planning horizons, and organizational need for experienced analysts who can manage forecasts at enterprise scale.
