INTRODUCTION
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for bridging business needs and technical solutions. This individual partners with stakeholders across business units and IT to analyze complex systems, define requirements, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that align with enterprise objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex system initiatives
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with teams to deliver system enhancements
- Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos
- Work with data teams to support reporting, data validation, and system integration efforts
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience with enterprise systems and integrations
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in financial services or insurance industry
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365)
- Experience with ERP or portfolio management systems (e.g., Planview)
- Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: USD $76,600.00 - USD $100,000.00 Yr.
