Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Warehouse Checker
Document your inventory verification credentials
Gather records of any formal training in receiving, cycle counts, or shipping documentation. PERM requires your employer to define minimum requirements, so evidence of relevant credentials strengthens the job description match during DOL review.
Target warehouses enrolled in E-Verify
Logistics employers enrolled in E-Verify have existing compliance infrastructure and are more accustomed to federal hiring processes, making them structurally better positioned to sponsor PERM cases than companies with no federal compliance history.
Search green card sponsors on Migrate Mate
Filter Warehouse Checker listings by green card sponsorship on Migrate Mate to find employers who have active EB-3 PERM filings for this specific occupation, not just general sponsorship willingness that may not extend to hourly logistics roles.
Clarify whether your offer is EB-2 or EB-3
Most Warehouse Checker roles fall under EB-3 skilled worker or unskilled worker categories depending on the job description. Confirm with your employer which category the PERM will file under before accepting an offer, since it affects your priority date and wait time.
Understand the PERM recruitment audit window
DOL can audit PERM filings for up to five years. Your employer must retain recruitment records for that entire period. Ask prospective sponsors whether their legal team has experience managing audits for warehouse and logistics occupations specifically.
Check prevailing wage using OFLC Wage Search
Before finalizing your offer letter, verify that the offered wage meets the DOL prevailing wage for your specific warehouse checker job zone and region. A wage below the PERM-required level can invalidate the entire labor certification filing.

Find Warehouse Checker JobsWarehouse Checker Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Can a Warehouse Checker role qualify for EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Yes. Warehouse Checker positions can qualify under EB-3 as either skilled workers, if the role requires at least two years of training or experience, or unskilled workers if it requires less. The employer files a PERM labor certification with DOL to establish that no qualified U.S. workers are available, then files an I-140 petition with USCIS to begin the permanent residency process.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
Warehouse Checker roles generally do not qualify for H-1B because H-1B requires a specialty occupation tied to a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Green card sponsorship through EB-3 is the practical path. There is no annual lottery, and while PERM processing with DOL can take 12 to 18 months or longer, approval leads to permanent residency rather than a temporary status that requires periodic renewal.
What does the PERM labor certification process require from the employer?
The employer must conduct a formal DOL-supervised recruitment campaign to demonstrate that no minimally qualified U.S. workers applied and were rejected. This includes posting the job, reviewing applications, and documenting the reasons any U.S. applicants were not hired. DOL sets the minimum wage the employer must offer, determined through a prevailing wage determination before recruitment begins.
How long does it take to get a green card through EB-3 for a Warehouse Checker?
The full timeline typically spans several years. PERM labor certification alone can take 12 to 18 months or more if audited. After DOL approval, the employer files an I-140 with USCIS, which takes additional months. For applicants from countries with visa backlogs, the wait for an available priority date can extend the total timeline significantly beyond the filing period.
Where can I find Warehouse Checker jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Most general job boards don't filter by employment-based green card sponsorship specifically. Migrate Mate lets you search Warehouse Checker roles by employers who have active PERM or EB-3 filing history, so you're targeting companies that have already committed to sponsoring permanent residency for this occupation rather than those who only sponsor temporary visas.
