Your role is to take ownership of the entire data engineering function. You are consolidating multiple existing ecosystems into one central, scalable platform. You are setting the technical direction, driving operational rigor, and making decisions that will shape how this company operates for years to come. This is not a caretaker role. It is a builder role. You will be hands-on when it matters and strategic when it counts. You lead a team, but you are not afraid to get into the architecture yourself. You know when to zoom in and when to zoom out, and you bring the discipline to make sure things actually get delivered.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- The stack centers around Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran. You have gone deep with all three.
- You have also done the hard work of bringing fragmented data environments together into something unified and reliable.
- You understand what that takes, not just technically but operationally.
- You have led teams before, somewhere in the range of three to ten engineers.
- You know how to develop people, hold standards, and keep momentum without micromanaging.
COMPENSATION
- This is fully remote, with strong bonus potential on top of a base between $250,000 and $300,000.
