Healthcare Data Analyst Jobs in Denver: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a healthcare data analyst job in Denver?
Focus on Denver's three dominant hiring pockets: large integrated health systems clustered near the Fitzsimons medical campus in Aurora, payer and insurance organizations based in the Denver Tech Center, and health-tech companies downtown and in LoDo. Candidates who combine SQL or Python proficiency with experience in claims data, EHR platforms, or population health tools stand out. Targeting employers in those corridors directly and tailoring applications to the specific data stack they use gives you a meaningful edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire healthcare data analysts in Denver?
Employers hiring healthcare data analysts in Denver right now include Riveron, Walgreens, and Frontier Airlines, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Denver's mix of large regional health systems, national insurers with local operations, and a growing health-tech startup scene creates consistent demand across employer types and seniority levels.
Are there remote healthcare data analyst jobs in Denver?
Yes, and healthcare data analyst work is well-suited to remote arrangements given its desk-based, analytical nature. About 41% of healthcare data analyst openings tied to Denver are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how broadly the local market has embraced flexible work for data roles. Fully remote positions tend to cluster in payer and health-tech companies, while hospital system roles more often require on-site or hybrid presence.
How can I get a healthcare data analyst job in Denver with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Denver is through a junior analyst or data coordinator role at one of the city's large hospital networks or regional health plans, which regularly hire candidates with foundational SQL skills and exposure to healthcare data even without years of direct experience. Lateral moves from clinical informatics, medical coding, or healthcare operations are common bridges locally. Building familiarity with EHR systems used widely in the Denver market, such as Epic, and completing a portfolio project using publicly available claims or public health data strengthens any application significantly.
Which industries hire the most healthcare data analysts in Denver?
Denver healthcare data analyst roles concentrate in Construction & Real Estate, Retail, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Denver's status as a regional hub for both health system consolidation and health insurance administration, combined with a maturing health-tech corridor, keeps those sectors as the primary employers for this role in the metro area.
