ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Banquet Manager in coordinating and overseeing all banquet events, ensuring smooth execution from setup to cleanup
• Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and set-up crews, to maintain high standards of service
• Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their needs and deliver customized event experiences
• Ensure all banquet areas are prepared and maintained according to hotel standards and safety regulations
• Monitor event timelines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during events
• Manage inventory and supplies for banquet functions, including food, beverages, and equipment
• Support staff training and development to uphold service excellence
• Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining event documentation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in banquet, catering, or event management preferred
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in food service
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related degree is a plus
• Proficiency with event management or POS software preferred
