Entry Level HR Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level hr analyst job?
Entry level hr analyst roles reward candidates who can show hands-on exposure to HR systems, data, or people operations through internships, coursework, or student org leadership. Familiarity with tools like Excel, HRIS platforms, or applicant tracking systems gives you a concrete edge. Tailor your resume to highlight any experience touching recruiting, onboarding, compensation analysis, or workforce reporting, even if it came from a class project or volunteer role.
Which companies hire entry level hr analysts?
Companies hiring entry level hr analysts right now include Amazon, Penn State Health, and Canonical, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Employers at this level range from large enterprises with structured analyst development programs to mid-size firms that want a generalist-minded analyst who can grow with the team.
Are there remote entry level hr analyst jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid arrangements are still common at the entry level. About 13% of entry level hr analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so fully remote options exist but are not the majority. Candidates open to on-site or hybrid roles will typically see a wider pool of openings to choose from.
Are these new grad hr analyst jobs?
Yes. The listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior hr analyst roles that explicitly welcome candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically asks for zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or practicums in place of full-time history, and does not require professional certifications as a condition of applying.
Which industries hire the most entry level hr analysts?
Entry Level hr analyst roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Technology & Software, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to have large, structured workforces that need ongoing support with headcount data, recruiting coordination, and employee lifecycle reporting, which makes them consistent sources of entry level analyst demand.
