Who's Hiring

Industrial Engineer Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a industrial engineer job in Phoenix?
Focus your search on Phoenix's aerospace and defense cluster in Deer Valley, semiconductor fabs in Chandler and north Tempe, and the large distribution and fulfillment operations in the West Valley. Employers in these sectors hire industrial engineers to optimize production lines, reduce waste, and improve throughput. Candidates with Lean or Six Sigma credentials and hands-on process improvement experience stand out most in this market.
Which companies hire industrial engineers in Phoenix?
Employers hiring industrial engineers in Phoenix right now include VERTECH, PetSmart, and STERLING, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Phoenix draws a mix of large aerospace primes, semiconductor manufacturers, and major logistics and e-commerce operators, all of whom hire industrial engineers across both production and continuous-improvement roles.
Are there remote industrial engineer jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though with limits, since industrial engineering work is largely on-site by nature, especially roles tied to manufacturing floors, fab facilities, or warehouse operations. About 100% of industrial engineer openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of November 2026. The most remote-friendly work tends to be data analysis, capacity planning, and simulation modeling rather than direct production or facilities roles.
How can I get a industrial engineer job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is targeting operations analyst, manufacturing associate, or continuous-improvement coordinator roles at the city's large logistics, fulfillment, and semiconductor employers, many of whom run structured rotational or co-op programs. Companies in the West Valley distribution corridor and Chandler's tech manufacturing zone hire entry-level candidates who can demonstrate data analysis skills and familiarity with Lean principles, even without prior full-time experience.
