ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Title: Influencer Marketing Manager
Type: fulltime
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Onsite 3 days/week
Salary: $100k-120k
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and highly organized Manager of Influencer to lead influencer marketing and community-building initiatives across a portfolio of consumer brands. This role will shape how brands show up in culture and within the creator economy, developing authentic partnerships, driving standout content, and building meaningful connections with new and existing audiences. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with strong creative instincts and a deep understanding of social platforms, creator trends, and digital communities. You will manage influencer programs from concept through reporting while collaborating closely with brand, media, legal, e-commerce, and agency partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies aligned with brand campaigns, seasonal moments, product launches, and always-on content needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and cultivate relationships with creators and influencers across tiers, from nano creators to celebrity talent.
- Manage paid partnerships, product seeding, affiliate programs, social commerce initiatives, and experiential activations.
- Create campaign briefs that provide clear creative direction while allowing creators to produce authentic, platform-native content.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts for paid influencer programs in partnership with legal and internal stakeholders.
- Own campaign budgets, timelines, deliverables, approvals, and reporting from briefing through content delivery.
- Manage relationships with influencer agencies, talent managers, creator marketplaces, and other external partners.
- Ensure influencer content complies with FTC disclosure requirements and applicable legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines.
- Partner with go-to-market, media, social, and e-commerce teams to amplify creator content across relevant channels.
- Measure campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and share insights and recommendations with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor cultural, social, and creator trends to inform future campaign ideas, partnerships, and creative strategy.
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and ongoing tracking for influencer and community initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social marketing, creator partnerships, community management, or a related field.
- Experience managing influencer campaigns from strategy and creator selection through execution, measurement, and reporting.
- Experience working with influencer management platforms such as CreatorIQ, Traackr, Aspire, GRIN, or similar tools.
- Background in consumer, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, retail, or related brand categories is preferred.
