Role Overview:
This role combines strategic thinking, client leadership, influencer expertise, and creative execution. You will develop integrated social and influencer strategies, lead creator programs, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members while ensuring campaigns deliver measurable business impact.
As a senior member of the Creative team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating brand objectives into social-first campaigns, creator partnerships, and content strategies that drive engagement, awareness, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Social & Influencer Strategy Leadership
- Lead the development of social media and influencer strategies aligned with brand, campaign, and business objectives.
- Develop channel-specific approaches that maximize platform relevance and audience engagement.
- Identify emerging trends, cultural moments, and creator opportunities that strengthen brand positioning.
- Partner with Strategy and Activation teams to ensure social and influencer programs support broader marketing objectives.
Creator Partnerships & Influencer Programs
- Lead influencer strategy, creator selection, and partnership recommendations across client accounts.
- Develop creator frameworks, campaign structures, and measurement plans.
- Guide creator briefing, content development, approvals, and performance optimization.
- Build and maintain a network of creators, talent partners, and influencer resources.
- Ensure influencer programs balance brand storytelling, audience engagement, and measurable outcomes.
Client Leadership & Account Management
- Serve as the day-to-day social and influencer lead for assigned clients.
- Present recommendations, strategies, performance insights, and campaign recaps to client stakeholders.
- Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance.
- Anticipate client needs and identify opportunities to expand social and influencer programs.
Content & Creative Leadership
- Lead content ideation and creative development informed by audience insights, platform behaviors, and creator trends.
- Develop social-first content strategies across organic, paid, and influencer channels.
- Partner with the creative team to ensure content aligns with brand objectives and platform best practices.
- Provide feedback and direction to ensure high-quality execution across all deliverables.
Team Leadership & Project Management
- Own social and influencer workstreams across multiple client engagements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows that support operational excellence across the team.
Measurement & Optimization
- Analyze social and influencer campaign performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Translate insights into strategic recommendations that improve content effectiveness and business impact.
- Develop client-facing reporting that clearly communicates outcomes and next steps.
- Stay informed on platform changes, creator economy trends, and industry best practices.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing, influencer marketing, content strategy, or integrated marketing.
- Proven experience developing and leading influencer programs and creator partnerships.
- Strong understanding of social platform strategy, content development, and performance measurement.
- Experience leading client relationships and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring junior team members or leading cross-functional workstreams.

- Experience working with beauty, wellness, CPG, lifestyle, or consumer brands.

Reporting Relationship: Director of Social and Influencer
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Location: This role is based in Raleigh, NC with a hybrid schedule of three in-office days (T-TH) and two remote days (M-F) each week.
