Job Summary

Duties

• Actively pursue outside sales opportunities through networking, community outreach, and telemarketing efforts to generate new business leads.
• Engage with potential clients via phone calls, in-person meetings, and digital channels to assess their insurance needs and present suitable property and casualty coverage options.
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage sales administration tasks including preparing proposals, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records.
• Conduct analysis of client data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, explaining policy details clearly, and assisting with claims or policy updates as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on benefits administration, compliance requirements such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and overall sales strategy development.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must
• Sales, customer service, financial services, or insurance experience a plus
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Strong communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
• Proficiency in sales administration tools, CRM systems, and marketing techniques to optimize outreach efforts.
• Analytical skills to interpret market data, assess risk factors, and develop strategic sales plans.
• Ability to perform telemarketing campaigns confidently while adhering to industry regulations.
