Corporate Finance Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a corporate finance manager in Texas?
Most corporate finance managers in Texas begin with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, followed by several years in financial analysis or accounting roles. Texas does not require a state license to work as a corporate finance manager, but earning a CPA through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy or a CFA designation significantly strengthens candidacy. Large Texas employers typically promote from internal FP&A, treasury, or business finance analyst pipelines.
Which companies hire corporate finance managers in Texas?
Employers hiring corporate finance managers in Texas right now include Amazon, GlobalFoundries, and Equinix, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of energy majors, healthcare systems, and technology headquarters means demand is spread across multiple high-paying industries rather than clustered in a single sector.
Which Texas cities have the most corporate finance manager jobs?
Dallas, Austin, and Irving have the most corporate finance manager openings in Texas. Houston's energy sector and medical center anchor the bulk of demand there, Dallas draws heavily from financial services, telecom, and retail headquarters, and Austin's fast-growing technology industry has made it an increasingly competitive market for strategic finance professionals.
Are there remote corporate finance manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of corporate finance manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the desk-based and analytical nature of the work. Financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting duties translate well to remote setups, while roles requiring close collaboration with treasury operations or executive leadership tend to stay hybrid or on-site.
How can I get hired as a corporate finance manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is securing a financial analyst or FP&A analyst role at a large Texas employer and building toward management over two to four years. Companies like ExxonMobil, USAA, and Texas-based health systems run structured rotational finance programs for recent graduates. Earning a CPA through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy or completing the CFA Level I exam while in an analyst role accelerates promotion and signals readiness for a manager-level position.
Where can I find and apply to corporate finance manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to corporate finance manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and location, and apply directly to each position that matches.
