What You'll Do
As a Health Insurance Product Intern, you'll gain exposure to a variety of projects and initiatives that support the development and management of health insurance products. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting market and competitor research to support product strategy and decision-making
- Assisting with regulatory filings and compliance-related activities
- Analyzing product, membership, and market data to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across product management, compliance, operations, and other business areas
- Supporting project planning, documentation, and team initiatives
- Participating in team meetings and discussions to gain insight into health insurance product management
- Developing proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other business tools

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must:
- Demonstrated interest in Health Insurance, Healthcare Policy, Compliance, Project Management, or Product Management as a possible career path
- Graduate between May 2027 and December 2028
- Ability to work 40 hours per week from June to August 2027
- Must live within a 3-hour radius of Madison, WI and be willing to travel to headquarters from June to August
- Attend the summer intern program kickoff and retreat (June 1-4, 2027), and final intern presentation (Late July/Early August)
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship from Quartz, now or in the future
Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
