Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of our executive leadership team. The CFO will lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, reporting, and risk management activities while helping drive long-term growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the company, partner closely with executive leadership, and make a meaningful impact on organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's short-term objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Provide financial leadership, insight, and recommendations to the President and executive leadership team.
- Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash management functions.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Manage capital structure, financing relationships, and cash flow to optimize financial strength and flexibility.
- Identify, assess, and manage financial, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls.
- Support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, expansion opportunities, capital investments, and business development activities.
- Develop, lead, and mentor the accounting and finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate financial results, trends, and key performance indicators to leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- CPA strongly preferred; MBA, CFA, or other advanced credentials are a plus.
- Progressive financial leadership experience, including senior-level finance or CFO responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- ESOP experience a plus.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership teams to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
