Overview Committed to Excellence Financials is seeking a Life Insurance Agent in Phoenix, Arizona. Our independent brokerage is expanding, and we are seeking a self-driven individual to join our team as an independent life insurance agent. Unlike a captive agency environment where agents are limited to proprietary products, our agents operate independently. We cross-shop the market to find life insurance products for our clients. We provide training, mentorship, and an onboarding pipeline to support contracting and production. Position Details and Compensation - Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor. - Compensation Structure: 100% Commission Only. This position does not offer a base salary or hourly wage, and there is no guaranteed income. Pay is based on the business placed, and may include renewal commissions over time. - Note on pay: The pay range shown in the pay field is Indeed's estimate for this job title. It is not a guaranteed salary. - Work Location: In person in Phoenix, AZ 85012, at 3550 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012. Core Responsibilities - Financial Assessment: Analyze client needs to recommend life insurance with living benefits. - Client Communication: Talk with families about their needs, help them understand life insurance with living benefits, and recommend coverage from multiple carriers. - Carrier Navigation: Submit and track client applications through carrier underwriting pipelines, including National Life Group and Foresters. - Professional Development: Participate in training twice a week, in person at our Phoenix office, and keep learning every week. Position Requirements - Licensing: Arizona life insurance license, or willing to obtain an Arizona life insurance license. - Licensing Cost: Candidates are responsible for the cost of the state pre-licensing course and state exam, typically $200-$450. This cost is paid to the course and exam provider, not as a fee to the employer. - Background Clearance: Ability to pass the background check required for state licensing. - Professional Infrastructure: A reliable computer and internet access, and a quiet place to work. - Core Competencies: Self-driven and coachable, comfortable talking with people, strong work ethic, and integrity. - Live in the Phoenix area and able to come to the office twice a week for training.
