Responsibilities
The Vice President will drive high-visibility projects and initiatives on the Business Transformation team, spanning process, technology, and change management work across the investment lifecycle. Priorities span a range of initiatives, from OMS-related enhancements to broader front-to-back workflow optimization, control improvements, and technology-enabled process redesign across Investment Operations, Trading, Compliance, Technology, and Data. This is a hands-on, high-impact mandate: the successful candidate will own end-to-end delivery of business process design and change management, partnering closely with the Digital Product team and other technology stakeholders to shape and support technology implementations, strengthen controls, reduce operational risk, and improve efficiency at scale. The role offers broad exposure across the investment lifecycle and the opportunity to work on a variety of high-impact initiatives alongside senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Investment Lifecycle & Investment Operations Focus
- Partner with Investment Operations, Trading, Compliance, and Technology teams, serving as a subject matter liaison where needed, to analyze and optimize end-to-end investment lifecycle processes, including private deal workflow, trade capture, order management, allocations, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and lifecycle event processing
- Support system implementations, enhancements, integrations, or migrations related to OMS and other investment operations technologies
- Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and data integrity risks within investment workflows and implement scalable solutions
Process Documentation & Design
- Lead business process design efforts, including mapping, analyzing, and optimizing workflows across Operations, Technology, and Data teams, using techniques such as stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
- Document policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and desktop procedures to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability.
- Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement new processes, ensuring proper documentation, training, and transition to BAU.
Project Management
- Manage projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, resourcing, budgeting, execution, and delivery of initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk/issue logs, and stakeholder reporting, including executive-level updates.
Change Management
- Lead organizational change efforts to support adoption of new processes, systems, and tools.
- Develop training materials, communications, and transition plans to prepare stakeholders for change.
- Monitor adoption and effectiveness, providing feedback loops and continuous support for impacted teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience within asset management, alternative investments, with direct exposure to Investment Operations and the Investment Lifecycle business domain
- Strong domain knowledge of front-to-back investment processes across alternative asset classes (credit experience a strong plus), including trade lifecycle management, order management, allocations, settlements, reconciliations, and associated operational controls
- Strong working knowledge of Order Management Systems (OMS), including workflow design, configuration concepts, integrations, and control frameworks
- Strong track record in engaging and managing stakeholders across different seniorities and functions;
- Experience in identifying, analyzing and resolving operational challenges with an ability to think critically;
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, while independently driving projects to completion;
- Strong working knowledge of core Microsoft applications e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; and
- Experience leveraging data & technology to drive process efficiencies and mitigate operational risk.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree relevant to position, a Master’s degree a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) a plus
Base Salary Range:
$165,000 - $200,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
