Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable distributed systems for international logistics.
- Develop innovative tools to manage complex multi-party business scenarios.
- Automate complex customs clearance and compliance processes.
- Address evolving data models in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve global shipping.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development
- Solid experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Step Functions, and other native AWS tools)
- Proven experience in building or modernizing/migrating platforms
- Strong DSA (coding/problem-solving) skills and backend engineering fundamentals
Industry Experience:
This role requires experience in the international transportation and supply chain industry, with a focus on import and export logistics.
Contract Type: W2
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Location: Bellevue, WA
Pay Range: $52.00 - $57.40 per hour on W2
