INTRODUCTION
This person will be responsible for verifying production samples' accuracy for meeting specs and reporting nonconformities.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify production samples meet customer specifications and report nonconformities; maintain sample records, certificates of analysis, and statistical data.
- Analyze receiving, purchasing, and sales samples for chemical composition and recovery rates.
- Review and update laboratory work instructions and procedures.
- Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and related documentation.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of metal chemistry knowledge or laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
