The primary responsibilities of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker is to provide outpatient behavioral health services to persons of all ages experiencing psychological difficulties in order to help them interact appropriately and develop meaningful relationships within community.
Starting Salary: $73,000/ per year.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family assessments to individuals of all ages using person centered philosophies and best practices in all service delivery.
- Provide expertise in assessing psychiatric crisis and crisis intervention while working closely with providers.
- Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination in order to de escalate crisis and potential crisis situations in an effort to maintain person supported lowest level of care that promotes safety.
- Maintain licensure as required by licensing board and attend educational trainings/seminars to remain up to date on current best practices.
- Maintain necessary medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines.
- Assist individuals and families in meeting other psychosocial needs by referring them to appropriate outside agencies and providing information needed within the guidelines of confidentiality standards.
- Provide clinical consultation as required or requested by other professionals within ACH to provide ongoing professional development and to process difficult client situations that may answer.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Two (2) years of counseling/therapy experience in areas that provides the experience in techniques of counseling and therapeutic assessments,
- Must be licensed as an LCSW, LSW in good standing in New Jersey.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
