How do I get a licensed practical nurse job in Columbus?
The strongest entry points in Columbus are skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and home health agencies, which consistently post the most openings. The Near East Side and Westside corridors have dense concentrations of long-term care employers. Candidates with experience in wound care, medication administration, or geriatric populations tend to move fastest through hiring here. Are there remote licensed practical nurse jobs in Columbus?
Yes, but only for a narrow slice of the role, since licensed practical nurse work is hands-on and almost entirely clinic or facility-based. About 0% of licensed practical nurse openings tied to Columbus are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions tend to involve telephonic triage, care coordination, or insurance utilization review rather than direct patient care.
How can I get a licensed practical nurse job in Columbus with little or no experience?
