Job Description
As a Marketing Manager II for Lifecycle & CRM Strategy at Care.com, you are a strategist at heart — someone who loves solving problems, figuring out exactly how to speak to customers, and driving real business impact. You will own an end-to-end lifecycle strategy across email, push, SMS, in-app, and embedded messaging, directly impacting how families find care. You're energized by a complex problem, aren't afraid to dig into the data to find the answer, and know how to bring others along for the ride. You love presenting findings, celebrating wins with the broader team, and building the kind of cross-functional relationships that make ambitious work possible. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and communicate with confidence across all levels of an organization — this is the role for you.
End-to-end lifecycle journey management:
- Own the lifecycle marketing strategy for various journeys and campaigns across all channels — managing deadlines and timelines, keeping stakeholders and teammates in close coordination, and driving campaigns across the finish line
- Own campaign launch communications to leadership and peers, and lead performance follow-ups — translating results into clear, actionable takeaways that inform the next iteration
- Maintain up-to-date journey maps for your owned audiences — tracking creative changes, subject lines, and snapshot data to ensure accuracy and alignment across the team
Testing and experimentation:
- Design iterative experimentation plans for 20+ existing lifecycle & behavioral journeys, analyzing results and developing actionable insights to continuously optimize targeting and personalization
- Stay on top of industry trends and evolving best practices to ensure campaigns are always improving and informed by what's working across the landscape
Technical environment & ways of working:
- Operate within a highly technical organization where deep data fluency is expected — you should know your data inside and out
- Understand how data flows into Iterable via our data warehouse or custom events, and partner with Product and Engineering on technical requirements for your projects
- Bring a natural curiosity to problem-solving, proactively catching errors and discrepancies before they impact performance
Data & Analytics Project Management
- Bring a strong background in data and analytics, working closely with the ADI team to maintain tight alignment across projects, Tableau optimizations, and data accessibility and reliability for CRM use cases
- Support data investigations and assist team members with QA across Tableau, Iterable, and Snowflake — helping resolve underlying data issues and flagging discrepancies to the team as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of lifecycle, CRM or retention marketing experience and end-to-end campaign management - from conception to execution and everything in between.
- A dynamic and critical thinker who understands the broader macro view of business objectives, but skilled at managing detailed projects to completion
- You can lead with influence, communicate your ideas with clarity, and present findings and wins confidently to leadership and the broader organization on a regular basis.
- Strong project management background; experience collaborating across multiple departments to execute projects.
- Ability to work quickly and independently while under deadline pressure and follow through on assignments.
- You thrive in an agile, test-and-learn environment, you’re curious and inquisitive by nature and can advocate for—and adopt— new marketing solutions as needed.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision making; hands-on experience with data reporting platforms such as Tableau or Amplitude required.
- Must have experience working within marketing automation software such as Iterable or Braze
- Nice to have familiarity with automation, AI, and machine learning features within CRM tools to improve personalization and operational efficiency
- BA/BS required

Mid Level Lifecycle Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level lifecycle marketing manager job?
Position your existing experience around ownership, not just execution. Highlight campaigns you led from strategy through reporting, segments you built, and results you drove independently. Employers at this level want to see that you can manage an email or SMS program without hand-holding, so lead with specific outcomes, the tools you used, and the decisions you made, not just the tasks you completed.
Which companies hire mid level lifecycle marketing managers?
Companies hiring mid level lifecycle marketing managers right now include ADT, Cisco, and Amazon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring covers both consumer-facing brands with established retention programs and growth-stage companies building out their lifecycle function for the first time.
Are there remote mid level lifecycle marketing manager jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are common at this level. About 41% of mid level lifecycle marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how readily this work translates across distributed teams. How do I move up to a mid level lifecycle marketing manager role?
The path into mid level is built on demonstrated ownership over time. Early-career marketers grow into this tier by taking on full campaign cycles, not just assigned tasks, developing fluency with marketing automation platforms, and tying their work to measurable retention or revenue outcomes. Owning a channel segment, improving a metric through iteration, and mentoring newer teammates all signal readiness for mid level responsibility.
