Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct carpentry, painting, and other facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel’s aesthetic and safety standards.
• Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical panels, and plumbing fixtures with precision.
• Diagnose issues with electrical equipment repair or HVAC system repair promptly to minimize downtime.
• Lead small maintenance projects or repairs requiring leadership skills while coordinating with team members or contractors as needed.
• Document all maintenance activities clearly using schematics and maintenance logs; ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Respond swiftly to guest or staff maintenance requests with excellent customer service skills to resolve issues efficiently.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with facilities maintenance including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, electrical work, and building interior maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks performed.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and report issues clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to oversee small projects.
