Maintenance Technician – Affordable Housing Portfolio (Knox County, TN)
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our affordable housing property portfolio in Knox County, TN. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and capable of performing a wide range of general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance across multiple properties
- Plumbing work, including basic repairs and troubleshooting
- Painting and unit make-ready preparation
- Change locks and maintain key systems
- Install and repair light fixtures
- Service and repair toilets and related bathroom fixtures
- Conduct routine HVAC check-ups (HVAC certification preferred)
- Replace air filters and perform preventative maintenance
- Support various other general maintenance needs as they arise
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related field
- HVAC certification is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Weekend on-call required
