The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking an outstanding candidate to join the Manufacturing Finance team. As the Lead Financial Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for the sites, providing financial analysis, business support and cost account oversight for manufacturing-related financial and inventory systems. This is a highly visible position where you will partner with key stakeholders across finance, accounting, supply chain and operations. You will gain deep exposure to manufacturing cost structures and inventory analysis while driving financial insights that impact decision-making. This position is a 100% onsite role in Danbury CT, Reston, VA, Melbourne, FL, Rochester, NY or Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.) evaluating historical results and providing forward-looking projections. Analysis includes evaluation and research of large data sets and implementation of corrective actions resulting from the analysis.
- Perform financial analysis in support of ongoing production management. Support inventory accounting, cost analysis, and manufacturing finance activities as assigned.
- Analyze inventory obsolescence, cost drivers, and at-risk inventory to forecast financial impacts.
- Prepare and present internal financial reports including business metrics, cost trends, margin analysis, and budget forecasting. Reporting includes communicating results of financial analyses to Operations leaders, Finance, and local management.
- Identify and implement improvements to recurring reporting, reconciliations, and financial-analysis processes. Standardize recurring output’s, reduce manual effort, and strengthen data accuracy and consistency in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and refine financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.

- Work confidently across functions to identify issues, challenge inconsistencies, and drive issues through resolution.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, systems, processes, and business needs.
- Periodic travel within the U.S. to CACI locations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant finance, accounting, or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with financial analysis, reconciliations, or general ledger accounting.
- Working knowledge of inventory and manufacturing accounting processes.
- Confident and resilient, with the ability to raise concerns, challenge assumptions, and communicate difficult findings constructively.
- Ability to research and resolve financial or transactional discrepancies.
- Highly adaptable and able to learn new systems, processes, and business requirements quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop effective relationships with Finance, Operations, and other business partners.
- If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level to perform the job.
Preferred:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis, and working with large datasets.
- Experience with Infor LN, particularly inventory, manufacturing, costing, or financial transactions.
- Experience working in a manufacturing cost accounting environment.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience with inventory reconciliation, COGS, standard or average costing, and month-end close.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
