Reports to: Manufacturing General Manager
Pay Rate: $62,000 - $82,000 (Exempt, BOE)

Job Summary:
The Assembler Supervisor is responsible for assembling crane components to support production schedules as well as managing a team of assemblers. This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes. Must have working knowledge in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Manage inventories and labor to set budgets.
- Develop KPI’s and present results to upper management.
- Assembles sub-assemblies and/or finished products in accordance with written and verbal instructions. (Industrial Cranes and Crane sub-assemblies)
- Performs all aspects of assembly work.
- In accordance with company procedures, cleans and prepares units for next operation.
- Safely operates heavy equipment as directed.
- Performs inspection activities.
- Maintains accurate records.
- May be required to operate forklifts.
- Comply with all requirements of Quality Control.
- Ensures compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Works well with others by showing mutual respect and consideration.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 7 plus years relevant supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
- Requires knowledge of mechanical assemblies and testing.
- Able to read prints and shop manuals.
- Must be able to perform simple computer entry for time keeping purposes.
- Prior experience with hand and air tools.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
- Lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of overhead crane and/or co-workers.
- Twist, reach and bend frequently.
- Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
- Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
- Possess the ability to hear.
- Possess the ability to ascend and descend a ladder.
- Exposure to hot and cold conditions, noise, chemicals, and heavy equipment.
