Plan production schedules, manage workflow bottlenecks, and requisition supplies to optimize efficiency
Train, coach, and develop employees on safety procedures (JSAs), quality standards, and best operational practices
Lead continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, LEAN manufacturing, scrap reduction, and productivity enhancements
Monitor and control production costs, reduce variances, and manage departmental budgets effectively
Conduct performance reviews, administer corrective actions, and participate in recruitment of production staff
Provide regular reporting on key metrics including productivity, quality, output, and safety performance
Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders and maintain a culture of accountability and excellence
Skills / Education
5-7 years of manufacturing experience with 5+ years in machining operations
5 years of supervisory/leadership experience
Strong machining and manufacturing process knowledge
Proven ability to train, coach, and lead improvement activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to manage budgets and control cost of goods sold
