Marketing Data Analyst Jobs in Idaho: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing data analyst in Idaho?
Marketing data analysts in Idaho do not require a state-issued license or registration to practice. The standard path is a bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, data science, or business analytics, followed by building hands-on skills in SQL, Tableau, and Google Analytics. Idaho employers, especially in Boise's growing tech and retail sectors, increasingly value certifications in Google Analytics or Tableau alongside a portfolio of real analytical projects.
How much do marketing data analysts make in Idaho?
Marketing data analysts in Idaho earn a median of about $60,970 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,800 for the lowest 10% to over $127,660 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing data analysts in Idaho?
Companies currently hiring marketing data analysts in Idaho include Micron Technology, DaBella, and CVS Health, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Idaho's concentration of retail headquarters, regional healthcare networks, and semiconductor manufacturers means demand is spread across several distinct industries rather than a single dominant sector.
Which Idaho cities have the most marketing data analyst jobs?
Boise, Meridian, and Nampa have the most marketing data analyst openings in Idaho. Boise anchors the market because it hosts the regional headquarters of major retailers and healthcare systems, while Nampa and Meridian benefit from their proximity to those same Treasure Valley employers, many of which staff analytics teams across the broader metro area.
Are there remote marketing data analyst jobs in Idaho?
Yes, and more than most fields. Marketing data analyst work is desk-based and output-driven, which makes it well suited to remote arrangements. About 26% of marketing data analyst openings tied to Idaho are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broad employer comfort with distributed analytics teams. Campaign performance analysis and reporting roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get hired as a marketing data analyst in Idaho with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for junior analyst or marketing coordinator roles at Boise-area retailers and healthcare organizations, which regularly bring in new graduates from Boise State University's marketing and data analytics programs. Building a portfolio of capstone or freelance projects demonstrating SQL queries and Tableau dashboards gives candidates a concrete edge. Adjacent roles such as marketing coordinator, business intelligence intern, or e-commerce associate at companies like Albertsons also serve as common stepping stones into dedicated analyst positions.
Where can I find and apply to marketing data analyst jobs in Idaho?
You can find and apply to marketing data analyst jobs in Idaho on Migrate Mate, which lists current Idaho openings. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the employers posting them.
