INTRODUCTION
We are looking for a MAINTENANCE MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - PLANT SUPPORT to join our Newberry, FL plant. As a Maintenance Mechanical Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will maintain equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and complete minor fabrication work.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance throughout the quarry and plant.
- Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting.
- Perform disassembly, repair, rebuild, and reassembly of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Bearing Installation
- Millwright skills
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, including inspection, troubleshooting, and lubrication of equipment.
- Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.
Additional Job Responsibilities may include:
- Properly maintain baghouses functions, Ex: preventive maintenance, troubleshoot baghouse, replace bags or cartridges, replace gauges, replace diaphragms.
- Work on items related to safety (safety work orders, safety suggestions) and to be able to work on items during scheduled down days or break ins at the plant.
ABOUT YOU
We Require:
- A minimum of 1–year of experience maintaining equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Good organizational and math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in dusty environments and confined spaces.
