Milestone Psychiatry is presently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for our Colorado Springs location. We are an NP owned, outpatient, mental health practice that has been rapidly growing. We strive to be a collaborative practice with excellent teamwork and a laid back environment.
Candidates should hold:
- Unencumbered Colorado APRN license
- DEA licensure
- Prescriptive Authority (Provisional Prescriptive Authority is acceptable for new graduates).
Schedule: Your schedule is flexible. We are open Monday - Saturday. We are closed on major holidays. You are not obligated to work Saturdays or take call.
Must be able to see children and adults, ages 5 and up.
This is not a remote position.
New PMHNP graduates are welcome to apply.
Our practice will honor your clinical scope of practice (For example, FNPs can only see and manage more common diagnoses including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, insomnia).
We have a highly diverse patient population and the ideal candidate will be open to working with all populations in a non-judgmental and welcoming format. We offer services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. You will not be required to see all populations if you have a preference on population.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric-mental health care to patients across outpatient settings, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Prescribe and manage medications including telehealth and in-person visits for ages 5 and up.
- Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations, coordinate care with outside providers as needed, and document findings in EHR/EMR systems.
- Perform or assist with basic procedures as appropriate, monitor responses to medication, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families, promote health coaching, and ensure adherence to treatment plans and follow-up appointments.
Pay: $66.17 - $73.35 per hour
