Job Summary and Responsibilities
CHI Health Clinic, a member of CommonSpirit Health™, is seeking quality driven, patient–centered Neurologist to join our progressive, and rapidly expanding Department of Neurology in Kearney, Nebraska. This opportunity is well suited for those passionate about providing comprehensive neurological care in a Center of Excellence with a primary interest in General Neurology. Opportunity Details:
Join our established General Neurology team that provides both outpatient care in the clinic and inpatient services at CHI Health Good Samaritan
- Inpatient and outpatient services
- ED Consults
- Part of a multi-specialty group
- Work with a Nurse Practitioner
- Partner with our well-respected and Experienced Neurology Team based in Omaha
- Partner with Omaha's Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Stroke Center, EMG-NCS Lab, and EEG Services
- Academic Appointment available if desired
- Good Samaritan Hospital
- Level II Trauma Center
- 200 bed facility
- 24 bed open ICU
- Hospital and Intensivist programs
- EPIC EMR in both the clinic and hospital
- Academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine
- CHI Health Immanuel's Neurological Institute - a sister facility - has become only the fourth program in the country to receive a new advanced stroke certification for a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center.

CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 236-bed, Level II Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving central and western Nebraska. As a tertiary care facility, Good Samaritan offers a broad range of specialty services and a highly collaborative medical staff dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. The hospital features a 24-bed open ICU with intensivist support, a strong hospitalist program and engaged subspecialists across cardiology, thoracic and vascular surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and women’s services. Hospital-based medical transport services at Good Samaritan include AirCare–the state’s longest operating air medical provider, as well as ground 911 and long-distance ambulance services. Physicians benefit from advanced surgical capabilities, interventional cardiology, comprehensive diagnostic and imaging services, and a team-based culture that promotes clinical excellence and collegiality.
