INTRODUCTION
St. Mary of Nazareth in Chicago, Illinois is seeking an experienced Neurologist to join our patient-centered, mission-driven team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals to deliver high-quality neurological care to our community.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of medical records, including patient histories, diagnostic tests, imaging results, and treatment plans, to assess the neurological aspects of each case.
- Analyze and interpret medical data to identify neurological conditions, diseases, and injuries, and determine their impact on patient health and outcomes.
- Provide expert opinions and recommendations based on evidence-based medicine and current neurological guidelines.
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely in written reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Board certification or board eligible in Neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Active state medical license and in good standing with relevant medical boards.
- Demonstrated expertise in neurology with clinical experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for thorough medical record reviews and assessment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information.
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $325,000–$375,000 (based on experience)
St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $325,000 to $375,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
