Responsibilities
General Neurosurgeon for Growing Practice in Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland
WellSpan Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Neurosurgeon for our west region encompassing Chambersburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD. This is an opportunity to be part of a premier team, with 2 established practice sites and strong leadership support. WellSpan Health is a 9-hospital system that includes a multispecialty group of more than 2,700 providers.
Position Highlights
Walk into a busy, established practice of 4 Neurosurgeons and excellent support from 5 APPs
Primary work location is WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA
Opportunity to work in Hagerstown, MD at WellSpan Parkway Neurosurgery
Expected case load: 80% Spine and 20% Cranial
Volumes are rapidly increasing in this region
State of the art equipment in our 275+ bed acute care hospital

Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Teaching skills.
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
