Our anesthesia care team provides services in Missouri at our main campus and across the state line at CMK. We offer a high level of acuity, coverage of all specialties, and encourage autonomy and growth. This position will provide coverage at our Kansas location only. Anesthetists will work 10 hour shifts. No weekday or weekend overnight call.
The anesthesia care team at CMH includes physicians, anesthetists, residents, and fellows. Anesthetists serve as paid preceptors to rotating anesthesia students and have opportunities to serve on department and hospital-wide committees. The perioperative team at CMH provides exceptional patient care and creates an environment of inclusion, support, and encouragement.

New employees must be willing to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) and/or without evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005. If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Practice: expertly provides anesthesia services as delineated by the collaborative practice agreement for the patient/family which promotes optimal patient outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree Graduated from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or by its successor agency.
- No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
- One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
- One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
- RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist KS
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Missouri Required Upon Hire
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Kansas Required Upon Hire
- Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications. Required Upon Hire
- Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Required Upon Hire
- Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director) Preferred
