INTRODUCTION
Eventide Lincoln is currently hiring for a Part-Time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for a Night shift 10p-6a (8 Hours). This position has an every other weekend and holiday rotation. The schedule for this position would be TH-TFSA.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The CNA assists in providing for the residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in accordance with the established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least age 18.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
- Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
- Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
- Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
- Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
- Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
- Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
COMPENSATION
At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $18.00-$20.16 per hour for CNA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
