Expected pay for this position is $78.92 - $104.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Reporting to the President of the Medical Center, the Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating the operations of the patient services division and ensuring the provision of proficient nursing care services. In collaboration with governing bodies, department management, medical staff and clinical leaders, establishes quality standards, fosters cooperative working relations and develops policies and procedures in accordance with government and accrediting agency regulatory requirements. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Education:
- Masters
- Current License with the State of Illinois as a Registered Nurse Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- 8 to 10 years previous management experience to include experience in the budgeting process (5 of those years in clinical experience with an acute care facility)

- Nursing Administration Certification
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or other related field
