Entry Level Onboarding Lead Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level onboarding lead job?
Focus on building hands-on experience through HR internships, campus recruiting volunteer roles, or coordinating onboarding projects in any setting. Employers at this level look for strong organizational skills, clear communication, and familiarity with onboarding tools or HRIS platforms. Highlighting any experience managing checklists, orienting new hires, or supporting HR workflows gives you a real edge over candidates with no direct exposure.
Which companies hire entry level onboarding leads?
Companies hiring entry level onboarding leads right now include CVS Health, Libra Solutions, and CDW, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from fast-growing companies, staffing firms, and large enterprises that run continuous new-hire cohorts and need dedicated support to keep the onboarding process moving.
Are there remote entry level onboarding lead jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer. About 33% of entry level onboarding lead openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so there are real options for candidates who need flexibility. Remote roles at this level typically require stronger self-direction and comfort with digital onboarding platforms, since you won't have in-person colleagues to lean on day to day.
Are these new grad onboarding lead jobs?
Yes, many of these postings are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates with little or no prior experience. A new grad friendly posting usually accepts zero to two years of experience, counts internships or relevant coursework, and values a portfolio or project examples over a long work history. Look for language like 'entry level,' 'junior,' or 'no experience required' in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level onboarding leads?
Entry Level onboarding lead roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Consulting & Professional Services, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to drive the most hiring at this level because they onboard large volumes of new employees on a regular cycle, creating consistent demand for dedicated onboarding support even at the junior stage.
