Entry Level Marketplace Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level marketplace manager job?
Entry level marketplace manager roles typically look for candidates who can demonstrate hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, product listings, or inventory coordination, even through internships, class projects, or freelance work. Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Analytics, or a major marketplace platform gives candidates a clear edge. Tailoring your resume to show measurable outcomes, such as improved listing performance or inventory accuracy, helps you stand out at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level marketplace managers?
Companies hiring entry level marketplace managers right now include Walmart, Amazon Web Services, and Signet Jewelers, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. A mix of direct-to-consumer brands, retail operations, and logistics companies tend to hire at this level, often seeking candidates who can grow into broader channel management responsibilities.
Are there remote entry level marketplace manager jobs?

Are these new grad marketplace manager jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad and junior roles that welcome candidates with zero to two years of experience, including internship experience or a portfolio of relevant project work. A new grad-friendly posting typically states that no prior professional experience is required or explicitly invites recent graduates to apply, making this a strong starting point for anyone entering marketplace operations for the first time.
