Job Description
This position works a compressed work week and is primarily responsible for ensuring all Fab related equipment is running at its highest possible capacity. This position is also responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment
- Ordering of parts and recommendation of spare parts
- Works on equipment improvement projects
- Perform Preventative Maintenance; basic PM’s on FAB equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve equipment issues
- Assist in engineering projects to improve equipment and process reliability
Job Requirements
- 12-hour shift three (3) days one week, then four (4) days the next week
- AA degree/Trade School (Electronics/Mechanical) or 3 years of semiconductor Fab related experience and/or training
- Basic knowledge of Electronics
- Must be able to write and edit equipment Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures
- Position requires the ability to effectively communicate and work with vendors and suppliers
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to work around hazardous chemicals
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
Job Hours: 5:00AM to 5:00PM - Compressed Work Schedule - 12-hour shift three (3) days one week, then four (4) days the next week
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to handle and inspect small components.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require shift work, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on production schedules.
- Work will be performed in a cleanroom environment with temperature and humidity controls.
