Entry Level Field Representative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level field representative job?
Employers hiring at the entry level prioritize candidates who can demonstrate communication skills, reliability, and comfort working independently in the field. Internship experience in sales, community outreach, or customer service gives you a concrete edge. Tailor your resume to highlight any territory management, door-to-door, or client-visit experience, even from volunteer or part-time roles, and expect a structured onboarding period before full independent deployment.
Which companies hire entry level field representatives?
Companies hiring entry level field representatives right now include Cox Automotive, Canyon Creek Financial, and Sqwad, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from consumer goods companies, insurance carriers, utilities, and regional service businesses that build their field teams through structured entry-level programs.
Are there remote entry level field representative jobs?
Yes, though most field representative roles are location-dependent by nature. About 66% of entry level field representative openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions typically involve phone or digital outreach rather than in-person territory visits. If flexibility matters, filtering for hybrid roles can surface positions that blend fieldwork with remote reporting.
Are these new grad field representative jobs?
Yes, many of these openings are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates with zero to two years of experience. A new-grad-friendly posting typically lists a bachelor's degree as the primary credential, accepts internship work in place of full-time experience, and may substitute a strong portfolio of outreach or sales projects for professional history. Look for postings that list 'entry level' or '0 to 2 years' in the requirements.
Which industries hire the most entry level field representatives?
Entry Level field representative roles concentrate in Telecommunications, Distribution & Wholesale, and Science & Research, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors rely on consistent in-person or territory-based outreach to grow their customer base, which makes entry level field roles a core part of their hiring strategy rather than an afterthought.
