The CNS functions autonomously and in collaboration with other health care providers as a practitioner, educator, consultant, clinical leader and researcher.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree
2 years of Experience
Current California RN License
BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association
NICU only - national certification in specialty required
Clinical Nurse Specialist Cert issued by CA BRN
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate Degree (non MD)
5 years of experience
PALS Certification-American Heart Association (for Pediatrics)
NRP Certification-AAP (for NICU)
The current salary range for this position is $64.37 to $88.51
