Who's Hiring

Operations Supervisor Jobs in Baltimore: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a operations supervisor job in Baltimore?
The most direct path is targeting Baltimore's port-adjacent logistics employers, its hospital and healthcare networks, and the manufacturing operations concentrated in Dundalk and the Broening Highway corridor. Candidates with hands-on floor supervision experience in warehousing, distribution, or facilities stand out. Familiarity with union workplace dynamics and Baltimore-area compliance norms gives local applicants a measurable edge over out-of-state applicants.
Which companies hire operations supervisors in Baltimore?
Employers hiring operations supervisors in Baltimore right now include RXO, Aceolution, and Ryder System, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Baltimore's mix of port operators, regional healthcare systems, federal contractors near Fort Meade, and food and beverage manufacturers creates consistent year-round demand for supervisors across multiple sectors.
Are there remote operations supervisor jobs in Baltimore?
Yes, but they are the minority since most operations supervisor roles require direct oversight of people, facilities, or physical workflows on site. About 0% of operations supervisor openings tied to Baltimore are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, skewing toward analytical, scheduling, and vendor-coordination functions rather than floor or shift supervision roles.
How can I get a operations supervisor job in Baltimore with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Baltimore is a lead associate or shift lead role at one of the city's large distribution centers, hospital supply chains, or port-adjacent freight operations. Baltimore's food production facilities and healthcare laundry and facilities contractors regularly hire entry-level team leads. Demonstrating reliability, scheduling competency, and any safety certification such as OSHA 10 sharpens a first-time application significantly.
