We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Teledyne Technologies is a global leader in advanced technology solutions, serving aerospace, defense, industrial, and scientific markets. With over 70 autonomous businesses worldwide, each with unique priorities and customers, success depends on collaboration across teams and functions. AI adoption is not a one-size-fits-all effort—it requires adaptability, influence, and the ability to connect and co-create with leaders who have different goals and challenges. As part of Teledyne’s AI Transformation Office, you will join a team of AI Adoption Leads, each specializing in a specific area of AI. Together, you will act as internal consultants, helping business units understand AI’s potential and implement solutions that deliver real impact. This is a role for someone who combines deep technical knowledge with strong interpersonal and selling skills—you’ll need to build trust, inspire change, and make AI happen in the business, not just track metrics. The AI Program Manager role focuses on selecting, implementing, and integrating AI content tools like Canva, Adobe Firefly, and HeyGen to increase output and quality while reducing costs. Responsibilities include linking these tools with CRM and analytics, building prompt libraries and templates, and tracking metrics such as production volume, turnaround time, cost savings, and engagement. The individual evaluates generative AI solutions, creates governance guidelines, trains marketers and sales staff, and shares results through workshops and guides. Collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Legal, and IT ensures seamless adoption and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build brand‑safe template libraries (voice/tone, typography, multilingual variants).
- Stand up prompt packs for campaign ideation, product collateral, and social posts.
- Integrate content workflows with CRM (Dynamics/Salesforce) and marketing analytics.
- Publish editorial QA checklists (claims, compliance, IP/stock usage, accessibility).
- Coordinate enablement sessions, webinars, newsletters; curate examples and how‑tos.
- Align campaigns to product/sales playbooks and executive priorities.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops to automate follow‑up sequences and proposal snippets.
- Manage asset lifecycle (versioning, retire/archive policies) across hubs (SharePoint/Teams).
- Ensure licensing/IP compliance for generated assets (image/video/audio/fonts).
- Partner with Legal/Compliance on claims substantiation and permissions.
- Build dashboards for leadership—adoption, cost, quality KPIs.
- Facilitate community of practice for content creators; highlight wins and reusable patterns.
- Define access roles and guardrails for AI tools (who can publish vs. draft).
- Establish incident procedures (brand violations, takedown, retraining prompts).
- Document playbooks for product launches, trade shows, and evergreen campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Hands‑on with Adobe / Canva/Firefly/HeyGen and related creative AI tools.
- Experience integrating content pipelines with CRM and analytics platforms.
- Ability to design brand‑safe templates and editorial QA processes.
- Demonstrated cost‑avoidance program leadership.
- Skills in prompt engineering for creative and marketing outcomes.
- Understanding of licensing/IP for generated media; risk mitigation.
- Experience managing asset lifecycle in enterprise repositories.
- Collaboration mindset, partnering with Legal, Brand, Sales Ops, and Product Marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or technical field.
- Curiosity and pragmatism; ability to standardize and scale repeatable content patterns.
- Experience in community enablement and role‑based learning paths for creators.
- Strong written storytelling and editorial judgment; brand stewardship.
- Comfort operating across multi‑BU environments with federated brand standards.

How to Get Visa Sponsorship as an AI Program Manager
Lead with both technical and cross-functional experience
Employers want program managers who can communicate between engineering and business teams. Highlight projects where you coordinated AI or ML initiatives, managed timelines, and translated technical requirements into stakeholder deliverables on your resume.
Prioritize companies with established H-1B sponsorship history
Large tech employers and AI-focused companies sponsor far more work visas than early-stage startups. Research a company's sponsorship track record before applying to avoid investing time in roles that won't lead to long-term work authorization.
File your STEM OPT extension early
Submit your STEM OPT extension application at least 90 days before your initial OPT expires. Processing delays happen, and a late filing could create a gap in your work authorization that forces you to stop working.
Negotiate your start date around OPT timelines
If your OPT start date hasn't arrived yet, be transparent with employers about your earliest available date. Most companies hiring program managers can accommodate a few weeks, and honesty prevents complications with your authorization status later.
Build relationships with hiring managers, not just recruiters
Sponsorship decisions for senior program management roles often come from department heads, not HR. Connecting directly with AI team leads and senior PMs increases your chances of finding a champion who will advocate for your visa sponsorship.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Do AI Program Manager jobs qualify for the STEM OPT extension?
Most do, but it depends on your degree's CIP code, not the job title. If your degree is in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related STEM field, your program manager role will likely qualify. Your DSO confirms eligibility, and your employer must be enrolled in E-Verify to participate in STEM OPT.
How do I find AI Program Manager jobs that sponsor OPT students?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for OPT-eligible candidates, so you can browse AI Program Manager roles from employers open to sponsorship without sifting through postings that exclude international students. Focusing your search on companies with a history of H-1B filings in technical program management roles will also improve your odds significantly.
Can I work as an AI Program Manager at a startup on OPT?
Yes, but startups carry more risk for OPT students. To participate in STEM OPT, your employer must be enrolled in E-Verify, which some early-stage companies haven't completed. Startups also have less predictable sponsorship timelines, and if funding runs out before your H-1B is filed, you could lose your work authorization window.
What happens to my OPT if I get laid off from an AI Program Manager role?
You have a 60-day grace period from the date your employment ends to find a new position, transfer to a different visa status, or prepare to leave the United States. You cannot work during this period. Reporting the employment change to your DSO promptly is required, and finding a new OPT-eligible employer before the 60 days expire is critical.
Is an AI Program Manager role considered a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Generally yes, when the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical field such as computer science, engineering, or data science. If the job description allows any bachelor's degree regardless of field, it may face scrutiny during H-1B adjudication. Employers typically strengthen the petition by tying specific AI or ML technical requirements to the degree requirement.
