Position Overview
We are seeking an Electrical or Mechanical Designer / Engineer to support the design and development of commercial building systems. This opportunity is open to experienced MEP designers, AutoCAD drafters, engineering technicians, and recent engineering graduates. Candidates with either an electrical or mechanical background are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering drawings, construction documents, and technical details using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist with the design and layout of electrical or mechanical building systems.
- Perform or support engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
- Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, project managers, and other disciplines.
- Review drawings, incorporate revisions, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Apply relevant building codes, industry standards, and engineering guidelines.

Electrical:
- Power distribution, branch circuiting, and equipment layouts.
- Lighting design, controls, and calculations.

- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.
Mechanical:
- HVAC equipment selection, ductwork, and system layouts.
- Heating and cooling load calculations.

- Knowledge of ASHRAE and applicable mechanical/plumbing codes.
