About The Role
We’re looking for a Designer with a focus in motion to own and shape how Rain moves. You’ll define Rain’s motion language from the ground up: establishing the principles and systems that bring our brand to life while also contributing to the broader brand system across key touchpoints. Working closely with the marketing and brand team, you’ll translate that vision into thoughtful motion work and high-quality brand design that tells the story of how Rain is redefining global payments infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Shape and define Rain’s motion language. You will establish core principles and guidelines and build reusable animation systems that ensure the Rain brand has a consistent and scalable foundation.
- Partner closely across teams to ensure design shows up with intention and coherence across every touchpoint, and bring a strong point of view on how motion can elevate Rain's positioning as a trusted partner to enterprise audiences.
- Lead and execute high quality motion across a wide range of touchpoints - product launches, brand campaigns, event visuals, social content, and more. From early concepts to final exports, you’ll handle the hands-on work including storyboarding, animating, building templates, and preparing files for every channel where Rain shows up.
- Support Rain’s brand system across touchpoints: creating collateral, swag, and campaign assets while ensuring consistency and quality. You’ll execute with high standards in craft and explore new ways to activate it.
You are likely to succeed if you have:
- 4+ years of professional design experience, ideally at a fintech or creative agency
- Expert-level proficiency in After Effects and Figma; experience with Lottie or similar tools is a strong plus
- Strong grasp of typography, color, and layout as they apply to motion
- Ability to translate abstract or technical concepts (payments infrastructure, stablecoins, APIs) into clear, engaging visuals
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Clear communicator with the ability to advocate for design in cross-functional settings
- Strong understanding of where AI accelerates great work and where taste, craft, and judgment have to lead
Bonus attributes:
- Experience with 3D / Cinema 4D
- Experience in fintech / crypto
