Overview:
OSF HealthCare partnered with Great Plains Orthopaedics in 2016, expanding orthopedic services and delivering advanced musculoskeletal care across Central Illinois. Together, we form a premier multi-specialty group with 14 fellowship-trained surgeons.
JOB SPECIFICS: In collaboration with Great Plains Orthopaedics, OSF HealthCare is seeking a General Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our community of caregivers in the Galesburg Regional area
- Consultative practice opportunity with OSF Galesburg Clinic, a multispecialty clinic, with surgical and other subspecialty support
- Call 1:3 with 24/7 Hospitalist Service coverage
- Enjoy a rich referral base and established program while seeing a wide range of General Orthopaedics patients

- Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $675,000 - $730,000.
- Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with completion of ACGME-accredited residency training
- Education: Doctorate
- Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fellowship training/subspecialty interest in Sports Medicine is a great addition to this general community practice in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
