Each physician is expected to:
- Be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Build their practice to a peak panel of 200+ patients
- Attain staff privileges at partner hospital
- Engage in marketing efforts, such as meeting with sub-specialists, to support panel growth
- See patients in the office M-F, with rare but as-needed visits on the weekend. No formal inpatient responsibilities
- Be accessible to their small panel of patients 24/7 for urgent matters, unless on vacation or being covered by another physician
- Express a willingness to engage in all aspects of patient care as needed: fitness testing, EKG acquisition, spirometry, phlebotomy, etc.
- Leverage exceptional administrative and clinical staff support in care of their patients
- Support collaborative care by maintaining patient records
- Build and maintain skill set via ongoing CME and board certification
Competencies: Required
- Clinical competency in the field of primary care internal medicine or family medicine
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills
- Effective leadership and organization
- Proficiency in the use of computers
- Knowledge of confidentiality/HIPAA
- Ability to create a safe, effective, collaborative working environment
