As the Partner Marketing Manager for Everspring, you are the strategic marketing lead to our higher education clients, delivering key insights and guidance to help them address a myriad of marketing needs. You thrive in a fast-paced client-facing role and are keenly adept at managing expectations of both client and company. As a Partner Marketing Manager, you will be equal parts big picture thinker and informed dot-connector, someone who is adept at setting and conveying informed marketing strategy as well as distilling that strategy effectively to clients and internal stakeholders. You have a wide range of marketing experiences and are comfortable addressing a host of omni-channel marketing issues, from brand development, campaign execution, content strategy and digital strategy. You are a curious problem solver who leverages market research and data to create informed and insightful strategic plans for clients. You are a team player with experience in managing through influence and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve best in class outcomes.
This position will report to the Director of Partner Marketing and is based in Chicago, IL where we currently operate in a hybrid environment and requires 3 days a week in the office.
Client Partnership & Account Support
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for a limited portfolio of university partners, managing day-to-day communication and coordination.
- Lead routine client meetings, including status updates and campaign reviews, with guidance from senior team members when needed.
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders through responsiveness, follow-through, and thoughtful communication.
- Escalate risks, challenges, or strategic questions appropriately and collaborate with senior leaders on resolution.
Marketing Strategy Execution
- Execute established marketing strategies across channels including paid media, organic content, SEO, and creative campaigns.
- Support annual and quarterly planning efforts by translating strategic direction into actionable plans and timelines.
- Apply best practices in audience targeting, messaging, and channel selection based on guidance, data, and prior outcomes.
- Contribute to campaign briefs, messaging inputs, and creative feedback in partnership with internal teams.
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Manage assigned marketing initiatives from kickoff through launch, reporting, and optimization.
- Coordinate closely with Creative, Digital, SEO, Enrollment, and Analytics teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Review performance data with support from analytics partners and help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with agreed-upon goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Professional Growth
- Maintain clear documentation, timelines, and communication across projects.
- Learn to navigate increasingly complex client needs, timelines, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Actively seek feedback and coaching to build strategic judgment and leadership skills.
- Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required.
- 4–6 years of marketing experience, ideally with exposure to client-facing or account-based work.
- Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in higher education, education services, or agency environments is a plus.

Compensation offered at Everspring will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Position Location: Chicago, Illinois
The base salary hiring range for this position is: $70,000 - $90,000
