Part-Time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Are you a pediatric SLP looking for a flexible position where you can make a meaningful impact on children and families while building a schedule that works for you?

O’Leary Speech Therapy is a small, growing private practice providing speech, language, and occupational therapy services to children and teens throughout the Greater Boston area. We’re looking for a passionate, collaborative, and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team!

This position offers the flexibility to build a caseload around your availability and interests, with a minimum commitment of 8 clinical hours per week. Your hours may include evaluations, individual or group therapy sessions, and consultations, with opportunities to grow your caseload over time.

Our practice provides in-home and in-school services, allowing clinicians to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and school teams in the environments where children learn and thrive. As the owner and a practicing SLP with over 10 years of experience, Brooke O’Leary values collaboration and is available to observe sessions, share ideas, and support clinicians as they grow in their roles.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to children and teens with a variety of communication needs.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and recommendations.
• Provide individual or group therapy sessions based on each child’s needs.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and share practical strategies to support communication beyond therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, occupational therapists, and other professionals involved in each child’s care.
• Travel to clients’ homes and schools throughout the Greater Boston area.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress and recommendations to families and relevant team members.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Current Massachusetts licensure.
• Pediatric experience preferred; clinicians with at least 2–3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience supporting autistic children and children with social communication and pragmatic language needs is valued.
• Successful completion of required background checks.
