Mid Level Performance Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level performance marketing manager job?
Position your experience around ownership, not just execution. Highlight paid campaigns you built from strategy through reporting, budget decisions you made independently, and measurable results like ROAS, CPA, or pipeline contribution. Tailor your application to show you've moved beyond following instructions and can run a channel or program with minimal direction. A clear portfolio of outcomes closes most gaps.
Which companies hire mid level performance marketing managers?
Companies hiring mid level performance marketing managers right now include HARVEY, TikTok, and Vercel, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers direct-to-consumer brands, SaaS companies, and agencies that need marketers who can run paid programs independently without heavy senior oversight.
Are there remote mid level performance marketing manager jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are common at this level. About 35% of mid level performance marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how easily paid media work travels outside a physical office. Fully on-site roles tend to appear more at brands where team collaboration or in-person campaign reviews are a priority.
How do I move up to a mid level performance marketing manager role?
The jump from entry level to mid level happens when you move from executing tasks to owning outcomes. Build depth in one or two paid channels, take on projects where you control the strategy and the budget, and document measurable impact at each stage. Mentoring a junior colleague or contractor also signals readiness. Consistent results over a sustained period matter more than any single win.
Which industries hire the most mid level performance marketing managers?
Mid Level performance marketing manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors hire at this level because they run always-on paid programs at meaningful scale and need marketers who can operate channels independently rather than requiring senior guidance on every decision.
